This patient Hemoglobin A1c of 11.2 suggests that she is not taking her medication the way it is prescribed. The infection in her toes has her concerned so she is now taking ALL her medication and she is dropping her blood sugar too low causing a hypoglycemic reaction that clears when she eats.
