Mononucleosis

Viral Throat infection

Clinical Reasoning:
Strep throat is neg; IGM is borderline which would indicate a current infection, but IGG is elevated which indicates a past infection, as well as EBV nuclear AG AB being elevated which occurs later in the disease.
Interpretation is: EBV antibody panel is suggestive of a past Epstein-Barr virus infection. Current infection shows elevated WBC with fever and lymphocytes are elevated which indicate the infection is viral.
