CORRECT CLINICAL REASONING:
ACL tear is a devasting injury. Caused by a blow to the posterior lateral corner of the knee pushing the tibia forward or by a hyperextension injury. Classic 3 signs, “ I heard a pop”, rapid effusion, pain. Diagnosed by Lachman’s test or pivot shift for stability. Will need MRI to diagnosis
