CORRECT CLINICAL REASONING:
Pt has uncontrolled diabetes with a delayed gastric emptying study. This is indicative that nerve damage has been done in the stomach from his diabetes and his indigestion is caused b/c the nerves in his stomach are not responding normally and emptying as they should. He needs better diabetic control and possible reglan to improve the emptying time.
